After two and a half years of design and testing, ARB’s new 12V and 24V on-board air compressors are now available. Constructed entirely of light weight, high strength engineering grade materials, including military and aerospace standard components, each compressor combines a compact design with the highest air flow in their class to make them the leading air compressors on the market.The compact design enables the compressor to be installed in tight areas, while the anodised mounting bracket allows the compressor to be repositioned 180°, and dissipates motor heat to ensure compressor longevity. The motor itself is protected against extreme temperature damage, and is integrated with anti-vibration, sound deadening, and fully sealed components for moisture and dust resistance. With the harsh and demanding environment of the Outback in mind, ARB engineers also developed a relocatable, splash resistant air filter assembly for cleaner, cooler air supply and versatile waterproof air intake positioning.
