A new lure that has been doing the damage on metre barra in the Top End this year is the big Bomber Long Shot. It’s called “Long Shot” because internal ball bearings move to the tail on the cast so you can toss it out of sight.
However, it’s as a trolling lure that it has been braining the big barra. The Bomber Long Shot is a saltwater grade minnow. Its wide swimming action mimics an injured baitfish – a strike trigger for all species of predatory game-fish.
The Long Shot features 10 premium colour patterns, a saltwater tough, durable body and comes equipped with 4x extra-strong saltwater hooks and heavy duty hardware. They are available in three lengths, 125, 150 and 175mm, and weigh 20, 33 and 51 grams respectively.
